Javier Omar Meléndez-Vega (he/él/li) is a Borikua-Taino therapist, licensed clinical social worker, and cultural worker devoted to restoring right relationship between people, land, and spirit. He is the creator of Eutierria Therapy, an emotional-decolonial, land-based therapeutic model grounded in Indigenous American Psychology Paradigm. Whether through carrying forward the Hiwatahia language, facilitating healing circles, or tending sacred seeds of cultural memory, Javier’s work calls us to live in deeper kinship with one another and the Earth.
