I am a white non-binary human who works as a therapist and part time animal rescuer. I love punk rock and Queercore genres, spending time at drag shows celebrating the beautiful world of gender abolition. I grew up in small town Iowa and my own personal experience of grief launched me into spending time learning about the profound grief we all carry in humanity.
I currently live in Chicago, IL and practice both in Illinois and Iowa. I hold a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor license, a Licensed Mental Heath Counselor license, and a National Certified Counselor license. Most of my work has been centered around gender liberation, coping with systemic harm and western religious traumas, and empowering folx to lean into community.

My approach to counseling is guided by self-empowerment and embracing both the person you are, the identities we uniquely hold, and the ways youd like to foster growth within your life by incorporating an anti-oppressive intersectional approach. My clinical foundation utilizes Internal Family System strategies called parts work, and aims to explore the dynamics of each persons identity and collaboratively create empowerment plans for these parts. I also use somatic work to help connect to your nervous system and provide DBT-based interventions to tangibly create safety within our bodies.
