Bio

My name is Aimee, and I am so glad that you’re here! I am a ciswoman, queer, neurodivergent therapist, and I am honored to provide mental health services to individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community, which includes expansive gender identities and sexual orientations. As a member of the community myself, I deeply understand the need for therapists who bring this lived experience to their work. As a neurodivergent therapist, I bring a unique perspective to my work. This perspective allows me to ask questions and challenge old patterns of behavior in a direct way. I am able to share complex psychoeducational information in simple, digestible ways.
I graduated from Boston University School of Social Work in 2016 with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. Since that time, I have worked in community mental health and hospital settings, providing individual and group therapy, before opening my own practice.
