I am a South Asian Muslim mother, therapist, and community organizer with Dream Defenders, where I work toward collective liberation and justice for marginalized communities. As an attachment-based therapist, I support individuals, couples, and families in healing through connection, using approaches like Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Somatic Experiencing (SE). My therapeutic work is rooted in anti-oppression, decolonial, and anti-carceral frameworks, centering the lived experiences of historically oppressed communities while honoring cultural and ancestral healing.
I also host Deconstructing Therapy, a podcast that explores the intersections of mental health, culture, power, and systemic oppression. Through conversations with radical practitioners and community leaders, we reimagine what healing looks like beyond traditional Western frameworks. My organizing work with Dream Defendersa youth-led, abolitionist movement focused on ending systemic violence, mass incarceration, and oppressiondeepens my commitment to collective healing and liberation, ensuring that transformative care is accessible to all.

My focus is on trauma, attachment, and collective healing, specializing in working with couples using Internal Family Systems (IFS), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Somatic Experiencing (SE). I also provide pro-bono support to individuals impacted by state-sanctioned violence. Rooted in anti-oppression and decolonial frameworks, I integrate cultural wisdom with evidence-based practices and connect personal healing to broader liberation through my work with Dream Defenders.
I offer couples therapy at $175 per session and individual therapy at $155 per session. I am committed to accessible healing, offering pro-bono services to individuals directly impacted by state-sanctioned violence. I also provide free case management services to assist individuals in navigating the often complex process of finding a therapist who is a good fit both financially and therapeutically.
