Greetings, I am Antonis Oikonomopoulos, a licensed psychologist and psychotherapist based in Mets, Athens, Greece (License: 1093542/2023). I have a MSc in Counseling Psychology & Psychotherapy, a bachelors in Psychology, as well as specialized training for the treatment of panic attacks. As a researcher I have actively contributed to scientific publications and international conferences. Working in various mental health settings, including rehabilitation, day-hospital, adolescent and college counseling, has afforded me extensive practical clinical experience.
Areas of focus
Psychotherapy is a process that delves into the deep-rooted aspects of our psyche to understand and address mental and emotional challenges. Through open dialogue, I provide a confidential non-judgemental space. In our sessions, I might invite you to speak openly about whatever comes on your mind, while I encourage you to hear yourself in new ways. Our work together does not involve psychiatric diagnosis or skills-oriented coaching. Rather than providing quick fixes or advice, I focus on creating an environment where you can explore your own answers and unique solutions.
