I'm Audrey Burella (she/they), a queer, trauma informed Peer Support Worker with a primary focus on supporting individuals facing challenges relating to sexual or gendered violence, religious trauma, and/or platonic, familial, or romantic relationship difficulties. I'm a survivor of domestic violence, sexual violence, and a high control group. I have been a Peer Support Worker since 2018, specializing in sexual health at the University of Toronto-Mississauga Sexual Education Centre before opening my private practise in 2024. PeerWorks certified.
Beyond 1:1 sessions, Kithship offers a range of free and paid community events both in-person and virtually.
Kithship prioritizes the comfort, joy, and safety of Black and Indigenous people, Women, and Queer people. Allies that align with this value are welcome to participate in any event unless otherwise specified.
I have lived experience and serve individuals and communities that are experiencing:
- Sexual trauma & gendered violence, historic and recent
- Religious trauma/deconstruction and high control group recovery
- Friendship, romantic, and family relationship issues or loss
My current rate is $75 CAD for a 60-minute session, and $99 CAD for a 90-minute session.
I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots reserved for those facing systemic barriers to mental health services, if you require a reduced fee in order to access services please inquire during your consultation call.
