Areas of focus

I practice decolonizing language and dismantling hierarchies in my clinical work by co-creating space and keeping up with the ever-evolving language that exists to describe experiences and identities. There is no "right way" to do therapy, I explore options with clients, trying various approaches and following each client's needs. I utilize support systems that already exist within a client's world to support them through, sometimes the support of families, friends, community, and chosen family members can be the difference between wellness and dysfunction.
Many of my clients identify on the spectrum of LGBTQ, neurodivergence, disabilities/chronic illness, as well as various immigration statuses, ethnic backgrounds, and religions namely Agnostic, Wiccan, Muslim, Atheist, and much more.
