Bio

Ima Aura.
Ceremonialist, Psychotherapist & Researcher

With over two decades of experience in mental-health and wellness spaces, Ima Aura offers a deeply relational, somatic, and culturally responsive healing practice  . Rooted in ancestral wisdom and African-centred knowledge systems, her work bridges psychotherapy, ceremony, storytelling, and cultural advocacy to create multidimensional spaces for self-inquiry, transformation, and belonging  .

Ima’s integrative approach draws on somatics, parts work, transpersonal process, and rigorous attention to societal and historical contexts—actively decolonising the therapeutic space and centring anti-oppressive, anti-racist values  . She understands healing as a co-created, embodied, and ancestral journey, not only personal, but collective and liberatory.

Sessions (online and in-person) are held with adults from diverse backgrounds. Sliding-scale options are available; please get in touch for details.
