Bio

I believe everyone has the tools to heal from trauma. My role as a somatic practitioner is to help facilitate a conversation between you and your body, allowing you to tap in to your own inherent ability to heal.
I’ve been interested in yoga and psychology since I was 14 years old, and my study of both led to my current work as a somatic practitioner and physical therapist. I earned my B.A. and M.A. in Psychology from New York University with a focus on trauma recovery. I went on to become a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a registered yoga instructor with over 800 hours of yoga training.
My favorite somatic practices are yoga, lifting weights, and martial arts. I live in Charlotte with my husband and two dogs.
