Bio

As a multiply marginalized Jamaican immigrant living in the USA, I honor my ancestors by using the indigenous wisdom they've bestowed upon me to work towards collective liberation through disability justice and mad liberation.
I'm a psychospiritual practitioner/coach with a BSc. in animal biology and psychology, and my lived experience with depression, suicidality, OCD, and psychosis informs my mental health advocacy and coaching practice. By synthesizing my Indigenous knowledge with insights from my formal education in psychology and biology, I offer holistic perspectives that aim to improve individual mental wellness and, ultimately, enhance societal and environmental well-being through divestment from oppressive systems and the envisioning of alternative, sustainable ways of existing on our planet.

Areas of focus

Aligning with the Neurodiversity Paradigm, I focus on depathologizing "mental illness" and "disorder" by helping clients embrace the diverse ways their brains have adapted for survival, and I guide them through shadow work to process and heal from trauma.
