Hello! My name is Lennox (they/he) and I am a white queer, neurodivergent, trans person with an affinity for joy and laughter. Prior to being a therapist, I have worked extensively in systems navigation and advocacy with queer and trans survivors of interpersonal violence. This work has been foundational in bringing these experiences of identifying and engaging power dynamics to create relational means for safety and connection to my current work.

My therapeutic approach is relational, attachment-based, trauma informed, anti-oppressive, and systemic, and I am guided by anti-imperialist, transformative justice, anti-carceral, and disability justice values. I am trained in CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Feminist Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and DBT, among others, but I find that a good therapeutic relationship is more impactful than broadly applying different interventions and I will instead offer framing or skills from different modalities as they may be applicable to your experiences.
I specialize with and deeply connect in doing grief work, identity building work (with self and interpersonally), skill building around conflict and non violent communication, and relationship building work. I almost exclusively work with queer and trans individuals. I specialize in and have worked with individuals with a variety of backgrounds including houseless or formerly houseless folks, disabled and chronically ill folks, low income folks, immigrants/first generation folks, sex workers, folks in different stages of recovery, polyamorous folks, folks with complex trauma, and neurodivergent folks at different stages of understanding their relationship to their neurodivergency.
Sessions generally cost $150 for a 50-minute session, but I offer sliding scale rates ($50-$150) based on socioeconomic background and positionality. This is something we can negotiate together during the intake process.
