Mosey Brown, PhD Candidate in Community, Liberation, Indigenous and Eco-Psychology

Hello friends! I am a dedicated coach, consultant, and educator with extensive experience working with in various contexts on social justice, advocacy, activism and empowerment programs.  I specifically chose a path in psychology that did not lead to clinical licensure because of the way that clinical psychology upholds coloniality, and the ways it blames the individual for institutionally driven issues.  In this capacity I sometimes serve as coach to help people explore the ways that the colonial systems of power are reasonably creating turmoil in their lives. I am also available to consult with therapists on liberation based modalities.

I have training in many methodologies of liberation from SWAPA to Theater of the Oppressed, community dreaming, and as a depth psychologist we can work on dream tending, and investigating the subconscious.  Together, we can chart whatever kind of exploration calls to your healing journey while observing the ways that you are justly responding  to a system that is meant to control you.

I have experience working with many blended families and polycules as well as pregnancy and parenting issues.

I am a white, cisgendered, queer, disabled, colonizer woman who takes accountability for enormous privilege while experiencing my own intersections of marginality.
