Hi, I'm Sam! I offer a warm, empathic, and nonjudgmental space for clients. As a queer person myself, I have a passion for working with queer, trans, and gender-expansive clients. I know how important a good therapeutic experience is, as my own positive experiences in therapy inspired me to become a counselor.
In sessions, I have an integrative, trauma-informed approach that relies heavily on psychodynamic and multicultural theories. This means that I am mindful of cultural and systemic impacts on my clients, and draw from the appropriate techniques and modalities for them.
Areas of focus
I have experience working with high school and college students, young adults, and couples on a wide range of issues including identity, anxiety, depression, complex trauma, life transitions, body image, low self-esteem, relationship dynamics, and CNM/polyamory.
Cost of Services
$200 standard out-of-pocket session rate, with a sliding scale starting at $65.
