Bio

Hello! I offer therapy in both Florida and Massachusetts. My approach is respectful, collaborative, insightful and direct. I have found that my style is well suited to helping people cope with and heal from exposure to systems of oppression. Additionally, clients have told me that my style of relating comes across as very authentic, conversational, and supportive.

Areas of focus

I specialize in treating adult children of toxic family systems including enmeshing, codependent, neglectful, abusive, addicted, undermining, adversarial, and scapegoating dynamics as well as other unhealthy patterns and dysfunctional behavior. I also enjoy working with survivors of religious abuse and marginalization due to sexual orientation and gender identity. Some of my other areas of specialty include burnout, narcissistic abuse recovery, and self esteem. I am fully bilingual and welcome Latinos seeking someone familiar with their language and culture as well as people affected by the systematic targeting of their communities by ICE and harmful xenophobic rhetoric.

Accommodations

I encourage my clients to stim, vocalize, or move their bodies in whatever ways they need to encourage authenticity and nervous system regulation. If overwhelmed by being perceived visually, I encourage my clients to turn their cameras off to experiment with different arrangements better suited to their neurodivergence or idiosyncrasies. Accommodations are always tailored to the individual and made in collaboration with them.
