Rest As The Heart of Resistance
Using Disability Justice Frameworks to Move Through Burnout
Saturday, July 12
3:00-5:30pm EST on Zoom
Join us for a 2.5-hour workshop where we’ll rethink how we move through burnout! Using disability justice frameworks such as interdependence and crip time, we’ll dive into ways to support ourselves and each other through burnout. This workshop will include a reframing of burnout, practical steps for burnt out folks, and end with an artistic practice. Our aim is to create a space for vulnerability in conversations and practice where we can rethink our relationships to productivity, success, and rest.
Join us for a 2 hour thought provoking workshop and discussion designed to explore how clinicians understand class consciousness in therapeutic spaces and within mental health systems. We will examine how class shows up in therapy – with clients, in supervision, and within ourselves. This workshop offers reflection and tools for navigating these class dynamics, while centering the experiences of marginalized identities.
A Processing Space for Healers Living w/ Suicidality
Tuesday, August 12 from 6:00-8:30pm Eastern on Zoom
This a 2.5 hour processing space designed for healers, therapists, social workers, peer support workers, psychologists, bodyworkers, community care workers, and any other mental health practitioners—who experience suicidal ideation but lack spaces where they can process without fear of punitive consequences.
Our workshops center anti-oppressive, abolitionist, and decolonial frameworks. We don’t water things down. We explore mental health and wellness as political, relational, and collective.
Led by Community.
Every workshop is created by folks with deep lived experience, cultural wisdom, and radical insight. We partner with survivors, community leaders, therapists, organizers, and healers to help us continue to learn.
Made for Learning + Unlearning
We're identifying ways that white supremacy, colonialism, and carceral systems show up in our communities. And finding ways to replace them with liberatory, community-rooted practices. We explore how white supremacy shows up in our work and learn to move with more care, humility, and collective vision. You’ll leave with strategies and wisdom to care for your community and/or clients.
Accessible & Affordable
We offer sliding scale pricing and prioritize accessibility. Whether you're a provider, care seeker, or just curious—there’s a space for you here.
