The Call is Coming From Inside The House

Examining Internalized Oppression

Wednesday, November 19th
5:00 pm - 7:00 pm CST on Zoom

An honest look at how systemic injustice doesn’t just exist “out there,” but also takes root within us.

Mandatory Reporting as State Violence, And What We Can Do About It

Friday, December 12th
12:00 - 2:00 pm EST on Zoom (11:00 - 1:00 pm CST)

In this pay-what-you-can workshop, the Liberatory Wellness Network and Mandatory Reporting is Not Neutral come together to examine the realities of mandatory reporting, why it is not neutral, and how it disproportionately harms the very communities it claims to protect.

Together, we will:

  • Learn the history of mandatory reporting and family policing
  • Explore the impacts of current mandatory reporting policies and practices
  • Build mandatory reporting harm reduction skills

This gathering is for therapists, social workers, psychologists, peer support workers, students, educators, healers, and all community members who are seeking to unlearn harmful frameworks and move toward liberatory, community-rooted approaches to care.

Anti-Carceral Practices for Mental Health Workers

Saturday, December 13th

Pat will lead a collaborative pay-what-you-can workshop examining how carcerality shows up in the mental health field and how practitioners can push back against these practices. Participants will explore anti-carceral strategies for mental health care providers and ways that we can shift the mental health field toward liberation together.

Why Attend Our Mental Health Workshops

Rooted in Liberation.

Our workshops center anti-oppressive, abolitionist, and decolonial frameworks. We don’t water things down. We explore mental health and wellness as political, relational, and collective.

Led by Community.

Every mental health workshop is created by folks with deep lived experience, cultural wisdom, and radical insight. We partner with survivors, community leaders, therapists, organizers, and healers to help us continue to learn.

Made for Learning + Unlearning

We're identifying ways that white supremacy, colonialism, and carceral systems show up in our work and communities. And finding ways to replace them with liberatory, community-rooted practices. You’ll leave with strategies and wisdom to care for your community and/or clients.

Accessible & Affordable

We offer sliding scale pricing and prioritize accessibility. Whether you're a provider, care seeker, or just curious—there’s a space for you here.
